Snow Report Summary

Hi Crotched Fans!

My name is Jason and I am the general manager of Crotched Mountain. Unfortunately, it's true... we are closed for the season, but boy did we have some fun on our last day and along the way! With over 40 entrants for the Cardboard Box Derby and nearly 100 participants for the annual pond skim, our last day was one to remember!

When I started at Crotched the first week of December, I quickly realized how much this mountain has to offer. As I got to know the management team and staff, it was evident that many share a passion for this place. A passion that I now share for Crotched. Collectively, we focused on the guest experience with fun at the top of the list. "Our mission is fun" (which plays slightly on our space theme) became a guide for how we operate. Of course, when you're a winter resort the main attraction is on the slopes. As a result, we focused tremendously on our snow, both the making and the grooming, to provide everyone a consistently fun product - and it only got better as the season progressed. Hats off to our snow surfaces team for a job well done!

The next focus were things that took place on the snow like terrain parks, seasonal programs and ski school. We wanted to make sure that whatever we did, we did it well. Our park crew stepped up their game with multiple successful events, clean features, and debuted the Starship Enterprise which was a big hit (2 points for the double pun). On the other end of the spectrum, our mountain development, USSA race programs, and ski school offerings were a huge success. With fun at the core, we strived to consistently deliver excellence and grow the love of winter sports.

Another aspect of winter sports that is very important to Crotched, is family. While I may have some bias, the time families spend on the slopes together is really second to none. It's pure. It's quality. And it's always memorable. We embraced this with our Family Fun offering on Sunday afternoons which we plan to continue for seasons to come. Family is important to us, and when you are here, you're part of the Crotched family.

I have been in the resort business for most of my life and it has always amazed me how much effort it takes to run a resort. Every department must compliment the next. Inside and outside, day and night, rain or shine - it takes a dedicated group of people to make it happen. I'm proud to be part of the team at Crotched and extend a sincere thanks to all that helped make this season fun. And that thanks extends to all who came out to enjoy our slopes throughout the winter. We appreciate your continued support. From race and mountain development to school groups and families, park enthusiasts to those who just love to cruise, we were thrilled to have you as our guest and look forward to seeing you again.

With your support, we will continue make Crotched Mountain a place for family. A place for you. And a place for fun.

Thanks for a great season! Wish you all a great summer.
